Winckworth Sherwood's IT
team reaped the prestigious award for the "Most Client
Focused Law Firm" at the Legal Technology Awards
ceremony held on 31 January at the Marriot hotel, The award was won
for a project that created an extranet solution which allows our
client to manage its huge property portfolio of over 18,000 owned
properties. The client, in this case, being Genesis Housing
Group who were on hand on the night to help collect the
award. The
Project
The
extranet solution is a valuable property management tool. The
multi-functional features and powerful search and export facility provide
immediate access to information pertaining to a single property or batch of
properties. All users can see at a glance whether a current legal
instruction applies to a property or properties, property type, value,
tenancy type, title number, lender and charge details (where applicable). This
extranet product was quickly assimilated into normal, daily work practices by
Genesis Housing Group and also our own lawyers and is used extensively in
communications daily between principal users and third parties. The
product serves its purpose as an added value tooI. It has helped to improve
business relationships as a result of the close collaborative working that
this extranet supports.
